About the School

XXXI Zamenhof High School
Kruczkowski Street 4a,
93-236 £ód¼
phone no.: (042) 6431415

The XXXI Secondary School in £ód¼ was founded in 1962. Primarily it was situated in the building of the XXV Secondary School. In 1964 it was moved to the new building. That year, our school was given a name of Ludwik Zamenhof. Moreover, at the same time the first A-level exam took place. In 1987 the first computer and then language laboratory in £ód¼ were created thanks to our principal's supervision. Since then we progressed rapidly. Integration camps started to be organized and the second computer laboratory was created. Furthermore, XXXI joined the Leading Schools Club. As a result of the teachers' and students' hard work, our school was seeded 16th at Secondary Schools Survey - which surprised all, because our purpose hasn't ever been winning competitions and subject Olympiad, but extending its students' skills. Therefore, we were even more pleased with our successes.
To find more information, we suggest watching photos, reading the calendary and Lewandowski's memories telling us about the origin of XXXI.
